Amazing food, fresh and delicious! Great drinks, as well. Get there early and expect a wait but it's so worth the wait! I tried a different restaurant every night. They were all good but this one was the best of all!

The best part of our two visits was our server. I don't always need hand-holding in English, but at his level it was a breath of fresh air. He was bright, funny and impeccable at every turn; noticeably proactive about our needs and those of other customers. Food was more than excellent. There may be items not shown on the menu, like the French toast I had for breakfast.

My husband and I stayed in Yelapa while on our honeymoon in early March 2025. We visited Los Abuelos a couple times during our trip. They offer an excellent variety of food and drinks. Prices are exceptionally affordable and the staff was so much fun!

Amazingly delicious food & huge portions! We had heard that everyone orders too much food here, and we still made the same mistake, but every bite was so good. The chimichanga, as others have mentioned, comes with the most beautiful & fresh salad. The tacos were great, too! We tried a variety of different ones and loved them all. This food felt like the most gourmet food we ate in Yelapa, which made the very inexpensive prices all the more surprising. It's clear a lot of thought goes into the food here. They were also very nice, and it was a great atmosphere with beautiful views! Lots of options for cocktails!
